Do you take on projects end-to-end, or can you step into an existing codebase?

Both. We're comfortable owning a system architecture-through-deployment, and equally comfortable dropping into an existing codebase to push a specific, hard piece forward without disrupting everything around it. The engagement shape is driven by the problem, not a preferred template.

How does scoping and billing work?

Depending on what fits the work: fixed-scope projects with a written spec and a flat price, or time-and-materials hourly for advisory, exploratory, or ongoing work. We'll propose the structure that makes sense for your situation after we've talked through what you're trying to do.

Are you comfortable with NDAs and confidential codebases?

Yes. Most of the interesting work happens privately, inside confidential codebases. That's the norm, not the exception. We treat client code and architecture as confidential as a matter of practice, not just contract.

Remote and async-friendly?

Fully remote and prefer async. We write things down, over-communicate context in PRs and commit messages, and don't need a daily standup to stay accountable. If your team works across time zones, that's fine. It's how we work best.
