Content Backups
Open source EmDashScheduled snapshots of your entries and media to an R2 or S3-compatible bucket you own.
Version 1.0.0
About this project
Content Backups copies your entries and media to storage you control, on a schedule. It covers site content, not the code or configuration of the site itself. Backing up, verifying, downloading, and restoring are part of the free plugin and do not use a license key.
Free features
- R2, S3, B2, Wasabi, or Spaces
- Daily or weekly snapshots
- Entries, taxonomies, and media
- Verify, download, and full restore
- Keep the newest 1 to 14 snapshots
Install on EmDash
- In your EmDash admin, open Registry.
- Search for pinnacle-content-backups and open its page.
- Review the permissions it asks for, then select Install and confirm.
Install from npm
Package: @pinnacleplugins/emdash-content-backups
- Run npm install @pinnacleplugins/emdash-content-backups in your site's project.
- For native mode, add the plugin to plugins: [...] in astro.config.mjs. It then runs in your site's own process, so use native mode only on hosts you trust with in-process code.
- To keep it in the sandbox instead, add it to sandboxed: [...] and set a sandbox runner, as the plugin's README describes.
Install from the EmDash registry, or add the npm package to your site. Registry installs run in the EmDash plugin sandbox, which needs the @emdash-cms/sandbox-workerd runner on Node, or the Workers Paid plan with a Worker Loader binding named LOADER on Cloudflare. On Node, the npm package can also run in your site's own process.
